Review: BBC iPlayer app

Cheers Kev. Unusual to develop for iPad before iPhone. I suppose it's one way of having a controlled soft launch by developing for the platform with the least users. wish they'd hurry up and release the iPad 2 so I can get one.

Crisis campaign shows there's no place like home

Crisis campaign shows there's no place like home

I think these aren't as bad as people are making out on here. They certainly highlight the problems in a way that at least makes you take notice. From a production point of view, the budget looks low, but it's a charity, so I wouldn't expect a decent budget - every penny is precious. The line "There's no place like home" isn't one I remember from the Wizard of Oz, but then again that's more likely to be my problem as it's years since I've seen it. Of all the executions, I think the Lion is the most thought provoking.

The Neighbourhood takes Heston's Dinner online

The Neighbourhood takes Heston's Dinner online

Nice website - well done Neighbourhood. Really like the crisp and clean typographic execution.

Watched a small video report about his new place on the Guardian app. Heston continually stressed that he wouldn't be cooking there at all and that it was all going to be done by Ashley Palmer-Watts. It's something that could be made clearer on the website to be honest.

Cravendale retires Cow, Pirate and Cyclist

Shame. I really liked these ads, especially the audio on them.
