This was a brilliant event at Harvey Nichols but just want to correct something as this year's lunch was organised by Spencer Gallagher and Natalie Gross and a team of helpers and I had the luxury of turning up as a guest. Very relaxing and a fabulous afternoon. We have a volunteer agency for next year's Northern affair as well, more to follow on that.

Good luck to Georgie, she is one of the very best in the business and it will be nice to see a bit more of her now she is focusing on Construct and Point which looks to be a great initiative for the design community. Well done that girl!

This has just come as a real shock to me, Andy was my boss for a short time when I started at Real Time Studio in 1991 and he was MD of Evans Hunt Scott. Definitely my sort of man, hard to believe something like this has happened to one of the really good guys in our industry. Sherrie also worked at EHS and must be devastated with this news. So So Sad.

I just love the fact that all these agencies took part in the podge peaceoneday lunch and found time to accept The Drum challenge in the right spirit and with great humour. In this particular case I matched SEA and The Brand Union because they live opposite each other in St John Street EC1 and have a friendly and healthy respect for each other.
