Founder of the infamous Podge Lunch, Jones chaired the Typographic Circle for five years in the pre-digital era.
He built and sold his type studio, APT Photoset, and became a visiting lecturer in colleges around the UK. In the 90s he set up remote studios in offices for clients including WCRS, Euro RSCG, Diesel and Condé Nast.
Jones has had a busy 12 months; becoming a grandad for the first time, celebrating his 40th wedding anniversary, organising the 21st anniversary Podge Lunch, moving house, and chairing The Dadi Awards for the ninth time.
2015 also seen him commission an agency to create a Podge Events website to cover design, digital, music and sport.
