It is said that a good referee is one that you do not notice; so the same should be said for reporters. But Scotland's main sports reporters have become almost 'celebrities' - and as with most celebrities, for doing almost nothing of note.
The standard of reporting and the role of the Scottish media in general (but the press in particular) has been awful. Gentlemen (I note you are all men), you have made Scottish journalism the laughing stock of the trade.
It is an editor's job to see that the reporters do their job, so you, Mr Jackson, are culpable as the idiots you sent out to cover the biggest ever scandal in UK sporting history.
As for slagging off Mr Spiers, the man is a FREELANCE. That means he is a reporting gun for hire. And as for having no qualms about taking a piece from any door, at least he did not just concentrate on the one single door in Edminston Drive, like your guys have done. You disgust me.
