Markets change, as a business you need to adapt. However, the impact of social media on recruitment is no-where near as significant as people may suggest. More clients are trying recruitment themselves, failing and then rushing to a recruitment business for an urgent fix. It's not ideal but there are still enlightened clients out there that know using a recruitment agency, much the same as any other type of 'agency' means you get specialist advice and service that they just can't do as well themselves.

Perhaps instead of denigrating advertising campaigns because they're not the most creative in the world, the ROI should be the priority - know the brief first and then judge the campaign...
