I honestly thought these were a tie in with My Pet Monster from the 80's. I was expecting a purple furry relaunch.

I think this has cause a massive lack of surprise, really it was always on the cards.

No, they really aren't. Facebook will just revert back to the old way if enough folk moan so I doubt anyone is really bothered.

This kind of thing will only grow as sites like Megaupload are closed down and we see the rise of bills and proposals like SOPA, PIPA and ACTA.

More modern and interesting than the last logo. I'll always like the classic bullet logo I grew up with but this one looks good. The way it can be adapted for different titles just works better and fits in with the updated take on the DC stable of characters since the 2011 "New 52" re-launch. Shame the 2 updates (characters and logos) didn't happen at once.
