I don't normally try to defend websites that we submit on the Drum as it is good to get some honest opinions, good or bad.

I do agree with some of the comments made and if i'd had total control on the amount of colours used it would have looked a little different. It is our job to guide the client as much as possible when it comes to the look and feel and content vs design on any website but sometimes we are bound by the brief and the client. At the end of the day the client is very happy and so far so are the people using it.
