Twitter’s triumph as WikiLeaks boss and Google come under fire

Twitter’s triumph as WikiLeaks boss and Google come under fire

Only just tipped my toe in the Twitter waters and yet to master it so your article makes interesting reading on the pro's & cons of it. When used by Tony Nicklinson to communicate how he feels, then it creates a powerful image of what life is like for him. It unfortunately is used by far too many celebs to boost their own ego's. Look at Will.I.am who seems to be obsessed by it. I think the body builders may just be getting a wee bit paranoid that google is seeking global domination of their beach.

For the vast majority of people within the UK I suspect that being monitored by "big brother" will not amount to much however if it does help deal with the undesirables in society who prey on the vulnerable then its good for me. I doubt anyone would get too excited about which web sites I visit on a weekly basis anyway. It seems that there is a price to pay for us all with the new social media technology out there now. As for Euro 2012,come on the Ukraine for Tuesday.

Interesting article about the power and pitfalls of twitter. Social media is clearly a powerful tool especially if it is used in the negative. I am sure if the Rothchilds & Goldsmiths were to rewind the clock then they might have used an alternative method of communication..........talking to each other, it might have helped.

What a great idea on how to spy on others via iPads. I wonder how many courts will now be accepting this as evidence in divorce cases? Also it is interesting to read how social media will influence how we will view TV. Does this mean that in the next few weeks we will hear and see repeats of England's performances in the Euro's? How many times do you think the commentator will mention 1966??

How Google stole your secrets and an iPhone caught a thief

How Google stole your secrets and an iPhone caught a thief

Great article about how the use of the internet can be good and bad on gathering info on us. I wonder if Mr Blair or Jeremy Hunt when they attend the Leveson Inquiry will use this one as an excuse or will that one be saved for the Murdoch's or one of their NOTW tribe. Good to see that in this day and age that bankers can still punch above their weight.
