Why the BBC won't be disappointed if older listeners follow Chris Moyles out of Radio 1

Personally I'm not that fussed about Moyles going. Although for me it was the best of the rest, Moyles at times opinionated views were irritating and saved only by humour that he and his team did bring. Dom was the real star adding alot more laughs that the oddly titled 'comedy Dave' (how the hell did he get that title or was it ironic?). I think the BBC's apparent recent policy of trying to appeal to a much younger audience will ultimately be it's downfall. I've recently been introduced to 6 music (yes I know it's a BBC station) and can honestly say the line-up for most of the day knock's Radio 1s into a cocked hat. The tru saviours of Radio 1 (Scott Mills, Huw Stephens & Zane Lowe & possibly Fearne Cotton who has gotten better the longer the show has aired) will always be worth a listen but after the BBC messed about with Scott's time slot I rarely get chance to listen to him. Very odd choice of Nick Grimshaw to replace Moyles as well. I'd have gone for either Scot Mills or Huw Stephens myself but hey, I'm probably not typical (anon aged 57) - been listening since the very beginning.
