Good luck John. Great initiative.
Hadn't seen all of that detail and based on the discussions in the office, my colleagues haven't either. None of the media are reporting the additional tweets which are on the digitalreport.net site. If these tweets were actually sent then why aren't they being included in the coverage (apart from the obvious of the bad language)? The debate which will inevitably follow will be skewed because of this.
This is so bizarre. My three year-old called me a 'stupid idiot' yesterday. Thank goodness she doesn't have a twitter account yet or maybe I'd be down at the police station this morning trying to make bail.
So sad and shocked to hear about Kenny. He was a great guy to be around - funny and wise and full of energy. One of the big personalities of the Scottish industry is gone and will be missed.
Eventually Apple is going to have to deal with this issue, before the brand becomes a pariah to parents. Parents (myself included) who have been caught out like this need to feel that the world's most valuable company isn't gaining that value at the expense of naive young kids. After all, a huge amount of Apple's I-Tunes income is being spent by parents for their kids. There must be a great opportunity for a brand which can come into this market and offer access to kids' games content that safeguards families against huge bills. Perhaps a pay-as-you-go type account?
