Album art will always exist, even within the digital format. It's sad to see LP's and CD's vanish for the favorable, spontaneous download; but the truth is album art has become even more essential.
The idea of animated album covers on a computer or mobile phone is a very nice thought. It could work really well for some; but with the advent of flexible screen technology, the same format could cross over to packaging. The use of a simple animated GIF style artwork could be the future for games, DVD's, album art and packaging - assuming the cost of the technology continues to drop.
I would start buying the physical media again, just so I could place all my album artwork on a wall and use it as a design feature. : ) That would look awesome!
So? How do the red-top newspapers get away with executing such similar campaigns?
Christmas is a nightmare, the stresses it places on families is ridiculous. The more people I talk to about Christmas, the more sighing, huffing and puffing I hear, followed by the words, 'not again'. Maybe it's just me being a grouchy, realistic, northern bloke!
The last thing we need are patronising adverts... oops, too late Asda have done it again, another crappy Christmas advert. Yes it's sexist and full of stereotypes but as many have mentioned, it's hitting the demographic; it's just not a reflection of reality - I mean have you been in an Asda store lately? More importantly, whose house is ever that tidy on a Christmas day?!
I suppose we should be grateful they're not blasting out Slade's infamous Christmas ballad.
But... if any knows where I can get those round, chocolate, rum truffles from, it would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance. Chris
It's a joke, trying to appeal to all by talking to them as different sectors in society. The US candidates spend billions on their campaigns, ironically both parties are very similar and promote the same old NWO agenda. The US is the biggest bully in the world, who rule by self-generated fear and wars that it starts to secure their lust for oil.
They don't care, they say they do, but nope... they're only looking after their friends who sell weapons and other assets to make them even wealthier.
We don't need governments or the poorly peddled propaganda pushed over their state run media.
If you cannot see what's going on, its time to open your eyes. Talk is cheap, as is their political campaigns. Their opinions that can be bought and sold depending on your agenda. They're just puppets.
Christ, it's better than that dancing pony shit.
