Their "protest" against Marmite spoofing one of their broadcasts just made them look even more like a bunch of knee-jerk reacting amateurs than usual.

Even if I believed what I read in the Daily Mail, was a rampant racist AND I'd had a lobotomy, I'd still think twice about voting for a party who seemingly don't check anything before broadcasting it. Rather like the "facts" Griffin came out with on Question Time a while back.

Fair point in way Tom, but, be fair, the comment/blog bitch-fests are pretty bloody funny sometimes. And anyway, who wants an industry press that's just made up of press releases and opinion pieces by those who've paid to be on the panel?

Especially as the comments quite often reveal a bit more about a particular topic than the air-brushed PR-department-approved article generally allow...
