I think Martin Jordan, is spot on. The main problem for mobile advertising right now IS in its point of evolution. I agree that the nature and quality of the ads are low today, but I also think the turning point lies with young ad networks coming up with innovative ad formats and new targeting capabilities. The end result = more effective ads, better ROI for advertisers, and more $$ for devs. I don't think a lot of today's leading ad networks will be around in 5-7 years. Airpush, TapJoy, Millennial Media will be the big boys based on everything I've seen from them in the last year.
