PewDiePew, a YouTuber with over 30 million subscribers, has announced that he will now disable all comments on his gaming channel.

The star, real name Felix Kjellberg, said in a video: “I go to the comments it’s mainly spam…advertising, people trying to promote. I don’t care about it, I don’t want to see it. I want to see what you bros say: I don’t see that because it gets blocked out.”

It was because of this, he decided, that he will turn comments off “forever”.

Kjellberg added that he will instead turn to Reddit and Twitter in order to get feedback from his fans.

PewDiePew became the most subscribed YouTuber in August 2014, after being briefly overtaken by Miley Cyrus at the end of 2013.
