Tennent’s Lager cracks open its history with instillation of 26 foot TV screen on side of brewery
Like to enjoy a beer in front of the telly? Tennent’s Brewery in Glasgow has fixed a 26 foot TV screen to the side of its distillery to show passers-by ads from over the years.
The giant retro telly, complete with cans of Tennent’s perched on top, is part of a series of enhancements by Reflexblue at Wellpark, including street art along external walls and an increased schedule of brewery tours.
Paul Condron, marketing director at Tennent Caledonian, said: “Our new TV will be a fun way to share moments from the brand’s earliest days in 1556, through to the latest news from today.”
Set to run 24 hours a day, the screen will show stills from iconic ads, highlights from events such as T in the Park and posts from Twitter and Facebook.
