Ed Balls gives in to pressure and retweets his name on Ed Balls Day
Wondered why Ed Balls was trending today? Three years ago, at 4.20pm, Ed Balls accidentally tweeted his name, mistaking the Twitter box for a search bar.The original tweet in 2011 clocked up over 25,000 retweets, and has led to 28 April being unofficially deemed ‘Ed Balls day’.This year, Balls was not keen to take part, although he finally gave in after 5pm following pleads.
