Plough Pub head chef announces he was sacked for wanting a ‘weekend off’ on company Twitter account
If there was one thing we’d have thought people would have learned in 2013, it is that if you fire people who have the keys to your social account, change the password. The Plough Pub in Oxfordshire clearly did not get the memo.At about 7pm last night, 15 December, the recently fired head chef of the pub took to the company’s Twitter account to air his grievances about how the sacking came after ‘he wanted to have a weekend off this month and Christmas Day this year for family commitments’.15 hours later, the tweets are still online, with the original tweet receiving over 1,500 retweets at time of writing.
We'd like to inform you that we've just fired our head chef.
