In what is likely to be an unexpected - but possibly welcome – coup for car brand Nissan, a man has appeared on a US medical TV show and claimed that he wishes to sell a testicle in order to buy a Nissan 370 sports car.

Janis Joplin famously immortalised Mercedes-Benz as the car brand of her desire, and car brand Aston Martin is amongst a select few who are able to consider themselves in the elite of the desirable.

Mark Parisi told ‘The Doctors’ TV show that he hoped to raise £35,000 from the sale of his testicle.

The Drum has contacted Nissan for a statement in response to Parisi’s actions, but the car brand has declined to comment.
