Following the recent announcement from McDonalds that the fast food giant is ending its partnership with Heinz Ketchup, Way to Blue carried out some internal research to see what condiment was the most loved.

The change of suppliers at McDonalds comes as Heinz named the former head of Burger King as its CEO.

McDonalds said in a statement: “As a result of recent management changes at Heinz, we have decided to transition our business to other suppliers over time.”

Way to Blue found that mayonnaise topped the condiment chat, with 35.3 per cent stating this was their favourite sauce, while ketchup came second at 31.3 per cent.

Mustard came a surprise third place at 13.7 per cent, followed by BBQ sauce at 5.5 per cent.
