Following the roll-out of its rebrand, Domino’s has launched a new programme aiming to save its materials featuring the old logo from landfills.

Developed by Crispin Porter + Bogusky, the pizza company’s Second Hand Logos programme launched on its Pinterest page, with ten artists upcycling everything from signage to store materials, all of which is going on sale.

So far notebooks have been made from left over pizza boxes and a quilt sewn together from old staff uniforms.

"In addition to supporting a select group of very talented artists, we are truly giving our fans and customers the chance to own a piece of Domino's history," said Russell Weiner, Domino's Pizza chief marketing officer.

"It is incredible how quickly our old logo has become cherished as 'throwback' – which is a credit to both our new branding direction, as well as the nostalgia of the old logo, which was very good to us for several decades."
