Dominos trials pizza delivery aerial drone

They may be more familiar buzzing the skies of Afghanistan hunting down terrorists but squadrons of aerial drones could soon be spotted in the skies above Britain seeking pizza customers, if the latest wheeze from the fast-food chain takes off.

Devised by creative agency T+ Biscuits the prototype ‘Domicopter’ has undergone its first 10min test flight over Guildford to deliver pizza door to door.

T+ Biscuits founder Tom Hatton said the outlandish scheme was an attempt to make ‘flying pizzas a possibility’ although it’s unlikely that Domino’s will be commissioning their own air division any time soon.
