A US-based ad agency is seeking people with “epic beards” to join its Beardvertising network where beardy men (and women apparently) can earn $5 a day for attaching a ‘beardboard’ to their overgrown facial fuzz.

Real Native Advertising has said that the clip-on mini billboard which houses the ad is patent pending.

The dedicated website reads: “Do people stare at its awesomeness? Of course they do. Do you wanna get paid for having an epic beard? Of course you do. Join the world's first Beardvertising network. Get paid”

According to Whit Hiler from Cornett Integrated Marketing Solutions beardvertisng is “the next big thing.”

He told Business Insider: “We're getting a ton of emails from guys with epic beards that want to host beardboards and we're actually in talks with some brands that want to be beardvertisers.

“I think we'll probably be seeing some 'beardboards' in the wild before too long.”
