The UK’s first commercial use of gesture control to launch The Hunger Games film.
Based on the futuristic setting for the film we utilised gender recognition, proximity sensing, facial tracking and augmented reality to create an interactive experience that allowed fans to access exclusive content from the film.
THE TECH The digi 6 sheets used built in cameras to scan the user. This allowed us to create a Hunger Games iD card featuring their photo, age and gender that granted them access to the exclusive film content.
A UK FIRST Enabling users to navigate the digital screen using purely gesture control was the first commercial use of the technology in the UK. Plus it was pretty cool and fit perfectly with the futuristic setting of the film.
