With mobile phones being a particularly high consideration purchase, it was important Tesco addressed this issue to bring shoppers back and engage with their brand. By personalizing their communication in email and onsite Tesco were able to assist shoppers in picking up exactly where they left off.
Within their strategy to overcome their high cart abandonment rate, Tesco not only used fully segmented abandonment emails but interestingly used abandonment surveys.
