Lady in Red:
I recently attended a lavish cocktails and canapés reception at the rooftop gardens of hot new London ‘It’ hotel Ham Yard to celebrate Lake Capital buying Engine Group.
Engine CEO Debbie Klein was there, dazzling in a red dress – the only colour in a room full of suited and booted private equity types (aside from myself, of course). I was most amused by said private equity types losing their way in an oddly placed vegetable patch – clearly the free booze, which was stuffed into a grand piano to get things kicked off in style – had gone to their heads.
Meanwhile, even more glamour was to be found in close proximity in the lush forms of actor Colin Firth and none other than Nicole Kidman, who were attending the premiere of their film ‘Before I go to Sleep’ at the same hotel, hounded by the paparazzi.

Delighted to see the marketing industry embracing exercise. Results International managing partner Keith Hunt recently competed as a member of the British team in the Edmonton World Triathlon Championships, ranking third amongst the Brits in his age group (I won’t be crass and reveal his age).A pretty good showing!
After an ungodly 4.15am start, and despite feeling like a shivering penguin and being crushed between a large Aussie and an even bigger American, Keith swam the 1.5 km in 29 minutes. He then ripped off his wetsuit (oo-er) to complete the 40km cycle and a casual 10k run in a ridiculously short amount of time. Good show.
