- 46.7m adults listen to the radio on a weekly basis (90% of the UK’s population).

- 45% of the population tuned in via any Digital platform, including DAB & Digital TV – a record high.

- 42.6% of UK adults now own a DAB radio at home – a record high.

- 34% of 15-24’s listen to the radio via their mobile phone each week – a record high.

- Commercial Radio has a 42.3% share vs the BBC’s 55.4% share.

- BBC Radio 2’s Chris Evans increases his No.1 UK radio show status with 9.23m listeners, increasing the gap over Radio 1’s Chris Moyles who falls to 7.1m listeners.

- Absolute Radio’s network of stations achieved 3m weekly listeners for the 1st time under the Absolute name. With increases on both its flagship and newly launched digital stations.

- Kiss FM achieved record UK listening results with 4.4m listeners, up 7.7% year on year.

- 95.8 Capital FM’s new breakfast show with Dave Berry replacing Johnny Vaughan was up year on year with 1.26m listeners in London, well ahead of its rivals.

- Capital remains the most popular London station with 2.3m listeners, but Magic 105.4 is No.1 in London for hours, a really strong result with hours up 15.1% YOY.

- talkSPORT achieved its 2nd highest ever reach, with Keys & Gray’s mid-morning show achieving its highest ever reach.

Scotland Quarter on Quarter

- Clyde 1 drops 40,000 listeners, and 835,000 (17.1%) hours

- Forth 1 adds 13,000 listeners and 1,000 hours

- Real Radio drops 2,000 listeners but adds 162,000 (2.79 %) hours

- Capital Scotland drops 16,000 listeners and 8,000 hours

- Real XS (was Rock Radio) adds 17,000 listeners (33%) and 158,000 (61.7%) hours

- Bauer Scotland Drops 27,000 listeners and 1.7 million (9.67%) hours

- GMG Scotland Adds 15,000 listeners and 82,000 hours
