Overwatch League names T-Mobile and Mondelez International as new sponsors

eSports league Activision Blizzard Overwatch League signed T-Mobile as its official wireless provider.

As part of the deal, T-Mobile will also be the exclusive title sponsor of the Overwatch League regular season MVP and finals MVP awards. Overwatch League also named Sour Patch Kids candy (produced by Mondelez International) as one of the sponsor.

Meredith Starkey, VP of events and sponsorship at T-Mobile said: “We’re excited to bring the Un-carrier customer-first experience to eSports fans by giving them a voice in voting to select the T-Mobile MVP award winners throughout the season.”

Katie Williams, senior director of marketing, North America confections said: “Our sponsorship with the Overwatch League gives us an immersive opportunity to support this exciting evolution in e-sports and highlight gameplay moments for spectators in the arena and those streaming from home.”

The other sponsors on board the Overwatch League are Toyota, HP and Intel
