It is believed that the bookmark menu might be placed on the menu below a tweet or in the drop down menu at the upper right corner of a tweet. The saved bookmarks could be checked in the user's profile page, along with the other features in navigation just after Lists and before Moments features as in the picture above.

As reported by Business Today, Twitter worked on the bookmark feature after it received requests from users, especially in Japan.

Tina Koyama, staff product designer at Twitter tweeted: "News from the #SaveForLater team. We’ve decided to call our feature Bookmarks because that's a commonly used term for saving content and it fits nicely alongside the names of the other features in the navigation.

The feature, upon release, will see tweets which users bookmark remain private.

However, at the time of writing. Twitter had yet to confirm the news of the roll out. Twitter recently doubled its character limit from 140 to 280.
