Jaguar Land Rover has appointed Felix Bräutigam as chief marketing officer, replacing Gerd Mäuser who will retire at the end of 2017.
Bräutigam has joined the car marque from Porsche where he was most recently vice president for Europe, overseeing the brand in 51 markets. Prior to that he served in marketing roles at General Motors, Saab, Vauxhall and Opel.
He joins the business immediately but will take full responsibility for the marketing output come 1 January 2018, reporting directly to Land Rover chief executive Dr Ralf Speth.
Speth said he joins at “an exciting time” as the brand broadens its portfolio of new models.
“I would also like to thank Gerd Mäuser for his exemplary service to Jaguar Land Rover. He has presided over an unprecedented period of growth in our business, bringing consistency and creativity to our global marketing operations,” he added.
