DDD Group have hired Media Bounty to lead on the digital and social strategy for their newest brand Button & Wilde, a customisable bath and body range.

Media Bounty will initially update the content strategy of the brand across Facebook and Instagram, tweak the tone of voice and increase focus on the brand’s USP of personalisation. Button & Wilde’s website enables people to build and design their own bath and body products, making them popular as gifts for others.

Media Bounty have kicked off the ‘always on’ and paid social content with the creative territory of #EveryDayGiftDay. The approach, designed to allow the delivery of gift idea messaging outside of the traditional seasonal peaks, also aims to provide a broader range of reasons to visit the brand’s site and upload photos and designs to the label of the chosen product.

Juliette Luxton, marketing manager at Button & Wilde, said: ‘We liked MB’s energy and their ability to approach the brief from a different angle. We needed direction with our social channels and a way of pushing our USP of personalisation. We were keen to stand out with our content but realised that this wasn’t an easy task considering Button & Wilde is a new brand, offering a completely new concept to the other more traditional brands in the bath and body sector. We saw social content as a critical to the brands success, the personalised element of the brand makes it perfect for photographing and sharing on social platforms. Media Bounty have provided a simple and easy to understand creative that has given us stand out over our competitors. We look forward to continuing that journey with the team.”

Matt Webster, co-founder of Media Bounty, said: “By celebrating the everyday moments we’re able to be front of mind for the consumer in a more consistent way by delivering content outside of the well-known seasonal calendar peaks. It also provides a broader range of reasons to get on the brand’s site and upload photos and designs to the label of the chosen product. It’s an offering that’s completely innovative in this industry.”

Media Bounty is based in London, working with clients including Palmer’s, Bodyform, TENA, Colgate, Chang Beer, Boots and Heinz.
