Wong will depart the role at the end of November with Chung, who is currently general manager of PHD Hong Kong, assuming the MD role and taking on Wong’s duties.

Chung has worked for Omnicom Group for more than two decades after joining in 1990 to run the planning department at DDB Hong Kong. Chung has worked closely with Wong to establish the PHD network in Hong Kong over the past 11 years.

Susana Tsui, CEO for PHD APAC, added: “We can't thank Ray enough for his 25 years of long and loyal service to the group, and especially for his role as the pioneer of PHD Hong Kong. Though we will miss him immensely, we are also excited for him as he takes on new opportunities.

"We also welcome Clement into his new role at the helm of PHD Hong Kong. It’s a well-deserved promotion that reflects his relentless efforts and commitment to the PHD brand. I’m excited to work with Clement on taking the agency to even greater heights.”
