Instagram users will find the Superzoom button next to the Boomerang feature under the record button on their camera where they can then tap record to automatically zoom in with the music.

Users can also turn themselves into a zombie, a vampire, a flying bat or get lost in a mysterious fog with Halloween stickers on their photos and videos.

Halloween face filters and stickers in the camera will available until 1 November.

Facebook users can locate the Halloween-themed game within the camera and turn themselves into a trick-or-treater. They can further share their highest scores with a photo and challenge their friends.

There is also an option of adding Halloween-themed backgrounds to the coloured background options on text posts on Facebook.

Instagram and Facebook have enjoyed an ad spend rise of 55% and 27% respectively thanks to new features such as these.
