Ryan Foley joins independent digital agency Roast as the head of campaigns to solidify Roast’s content offering as a market leading product.

His role is to ensure Roast’s campaign proposition moves forward in a sustainable and scalable direction.

With over 11 years of industry experience, both in-house and agency-side, Foley has delivered digital campaigns for brands such as Sky, McDonalds, Ralph Lauren, BMW and Lynx. Foley joins Roast from iProspect, where he held the role of senior strategist. Before this, Foley led strategic success at Roast’s chief executive and founder’s previous agency, Steak.

Foley explains: “For me, the answer to creating content that matters doesn’t lie in assuming you can influence consumers through treating them like robots. We need to understand people’s real interests and why they care about them. Only by doing this, can you create true value for people who are engaged, in a way that generates ROI for brands. This is an ethos I know Roast already hugely believe in.”

Ollie Bishop, chief executive and founder of Roast, added: “As we continue to grow at such a rapid rate, we need to ensure we welcome people to the team, that retain the entrepreneurial, start-up mentality. With this comes the innovative, but collaborative approach which we largely attribute to our success.”

After only two and a half years, Roast has expanded to house over 50 employees and works with clients such as Experian, Unibet and InsureandGo.
