Collins has spent two years leading Fallon, overseeing new business wins including Deliveroo, ebookers, Expedia and Skoda’s digital business.

As Leo Burnett chief executive, he will report to Justin Billingsley, global chief operating officer of Publicis Communications.

“Gareth is a next-generation leader, with a great new business track record. His appointment to this expanded remit is testament to Publicis Groupe recognising great talent from within; while attracting big names from around the industry,” said Billingsley.

“We are excited to promote Gareth and look forward to seeing his fresh thinking and energy, taking Leo Burnett forward.”

Fallon will move into the Leo Burnett Kensington Village office by the end of the year and have access to the 85-office strong Leo Burnett network. The combined agency roster will AXA, Ebooker, Kellogg’s, McDonald’s, Pfizer, Red Bull, and Samsung.
