What was your first ever job?

I was working in a travel agency in Paris back in 1997. Interesting to see how digital has disrupted (destroyed?) this market in 20 years…

Why did you get into advertising?

I always had a passion for communications. It is one of the few industries which combines creativity and international business perspective. I work with great clients and wonderful people.

What would be the perfect day?

Every day is different and this variety makes this job perfect.

Who do you find most interesting to follow on social media?

International news in real time.

What is the best book you have ever read?

"A La Recherche du Temps Perdu" by Marcel Proust.

If you could ban one buzzword or piece of jargon what would it be?

Acronyms in general. Our industry always invents new acronyms you never heard about…

Who is the person you most want to meet in the industry and why?

I have the chance to meet with many, many fascinating people…

Do you ever turn your phone off and if so, when?

When I do sport

If you could go to one marketing event this year which would you choose?

I like Cannes Lions

What's the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

There are two:

“Favour the long term over the short term”.

And,

“Happy client, happy life”.
