The agency's art director, Cassandra Jamcotchian, through her illustrations on the Instagram page, The Daily Jam has urged people to vote yes. Some of the Illustrations depict two women kissing each other, two men kissing each other, countries that allow gay marriage and love is love. Leo Burnett London hasalso addressed the same message by adorning its Avonmore road office windows with the words 'Say Yes, Australia.'
Jamcotchian and Hayley Power, copywriter at Leo Burnett said: “The Australian marriage equality vote is creating a lot of debate and hurt in the LGBT community in Australia, so we wanted to use our prime location on the busy A4 to show our support all the way from London.”
Leo Burnett London plans to keep its ‘Say yes, Australia’ windows in place until the result of the vote that is 15 November.
Leo Burnett Melbourne earlier this month conceptualised a film titled 'Vote Yes: For every Bachelor and Bachelorette' which was aired on The Bachelor's finale in Australia.
