Holiday Inn China has launched a campaign crafted entirely of real experiences of its guests and staff.
The Moments of Joy campaign features Chinese travellers and Holiday Inn staff sharing their experiences of the brand from China and abroad.
The campaign kicks off with an ad featuring the story of a long-standing Holiday Inn customer, Kong Jia, who has been a member of the group’s IHG Rewards Club for 23 years. A short film tells the story of Jia and the Kong family as they share their travel experiences.
The campaign also includes an out-of-home component including a 3D ‘Smile Sofa’ installation at Shanghai Pudong Airport and selected Holiday Inn hotels, which enables travellers, guests and staff to experience their own experiences and moments of joy.
Lin Wang, vice president, brand and marketing of IHG Greater China, said the campaign aimed to “engage consumers with our core asset – our people, and it also conveys the spirit of going above and beyond for guests that is ingrained in our DNA. At the end of the day, the ambition is to create a world of authentic moments of joy that Holiday Inn has helped people experience.”
