The news comes after Facebook began trials of an intriguing new group video chat app in Denmark which the social network has christened as ‘Bonfire’ and enables people to ‘instantly start video chatting with friends’.

Facebook which snapped up WhatsApp for a cool $19bn back in 2014, recently gave the first clear indication about how it intends to monetize WhatsApp, with the launch of a verified business accounts program.

WhatsApp too is testing a feature which will delete messages sent erroneously to an individual or in a group chat within five minutes.
