Unilever Foundry, IBM and Adobe join The Drum and TBWA\ for Machines + Marketers event

IBM, Adobe and Unilever Foundry join TBWA, Google and Standard Chartered next week to make up the final line up for The Drum’s Machines + Marketers event in Singapore next week.

Unilever, IBM and Adobe join the Machines + Marketers line up

The event, supported by TBWA\ as partners, will see top marketers coming together to discuss the future of talent and the changing business models of marketing business, particularly within the context of an increasing use of automation and artificial intelligence.

Just announced for the panel is Barbara Guerpillon,head of Unilever Foundry SEAA and LEVEL3, Unilever’s start-up space in Singapore, IBM Asia Pacific CMO Susan Jain and Siva Ganeshanandan, APAC director at Adobe Experience Cloud. They join executives from Google, TBWA\ and Standard Chartered.

The lunchtime event on 28 September 2017 will consist of two panels. Machines will look at the growing influence of artificial intelligence on the industry and will specifically look at how this influences talent and skills. The foundation of this panel is a comprehensive study in Asia Pacific by TBWA\ and Hall & Partners called ‘The Rise of the Machines’.

The second panel will be a live chat version of a regular series on The Drum which poses the question; ‘Does the Marketing Industry Have a Marketing Problem?’ The panel will look at the reasons why talent and culture is harder to foster in traditional marketing businesses, how the industry needs to adapt, and whether the marketing industry does have its own marketing problem.

The event is free to attend but spaces are limited so do register to secure a place. The event will run from midday until 3pm on 28th September, with a chance to network after.
