Technical 'glitch' sees YouTube, Gmail & Google Docs outage in India

Google experienced a technical glitch which saw services including YouTube, Gmail and Google Docs shut down in India and across several other parts of the world for a brief period yesterday (15 September).

It comes just days after Google's servers failed, leaving users in Central Europe, Japan and the US East Coast unable to access Gmail and some other services.

Meanwhile a Google hijack in Japan last month which left the country without internet access investigation by The Internal Affairs and Communications Ministry.

Users unable to access the services took to social media to complain.
