Weber Shandwick expands China presence with Shenzhen office
Weber Shandwick has expanded its China presence with the launch of an office in Shenzhen.

The move comes less than two weeks after Ogilvy announced it had opened an office in Shenzhen, which is referred to as China’s Silicon Valley. Shenzhen is home to China's masses of emerging tech startups, as well as tech giants such as Tencent and Huawei.
The new office will be led by Leo Tang, who has been appointed head of Shenzhen, he will be tasked with supporting local and global clients to help navigate China’s evolving economic landscape.
Tang was previously global manager of marketing for Nubia and has previously held marketing roles for Chinese technology brands such as Huawei and TCL. He will report to Rocky Wang, head of Southern China at. Weber Shandwick.

Weber Shandwick first entered the China market in 1993 and has offices in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.
