YouTube has created a series of ads to better inform potential advertisers on the power of its ad network and audiences.
AdAge reports that the video platform has run the video creative on YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn and beyond to tout the benefits of its engaged audience. The company is looking to show the power of its niche audiences that transcends a plethora of categories.
The work comes from collaborations with R/GA, Anomaly, Kornhaber Brown and C42D and features YouTubers like Jackie Aina, Lucas B, Gigi Gorgeous and Tom Fletcher. It will run for six weeks with a reported ramp up during Ad Week New York.
YouTube will hope that its educational efforts will stave off any brand exodus sparked by recent controversies around ads being placed next to questionable content.
