The campaign will run across Australia from 4 September to 15 October.

Giant yellow recliners have transformed the utilitarian structures into public living rooms ensuring that commuters can wait for their carriage in unaccustomed comfort.

Ikea representatives were on hand at both locations to enlighten bemused travelers by dishing out free copies of the new catalogues in addition to travel cards.

Peter Moore, external communications and media manager, Ikea said: “We were excited to partner with Adshel to showcase our products and the 2018 IKEA Catalogue launch message in an impactful way.

“As an emphasis of this year’s catalogue related to life in and around the living room, working with Adshel on these special-build activations allowed us to convey this theme in an engaging and fun way, whilst providing commuters with a comfortable and functional space.”

The campaign, incorporating artwork produced by The Monkeys, will run across Australia from 4 September to 15 October.
