Western Union becomes Liverpool FC’s first ever sleeve sponsor

In the Premier League financial arms race, Liverpool has an ace up its sleeve, it has signed on a second shirt sponsor in Western Union, Its first ever official sleeve sponsor.

Just before the kick off of the Premier League this weekend, the club will push the money transfer service, driving the product to many of its global fans. This will accompany main jersey sponsor Standard Chartered.

Furthermore, there will digital and social media support, pitch side LED messaging, and branding across Anfield stadium, its fan lounge and the Club’s media channels.

Underlining the new partnership, Western Union will be offer fans in UK, Ireland, France, Denmark, Norway and Sweden a fee-free money transfer promotion throughout August.

The new shirt was unveiled by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, furthermore, the new jersey was modelled by players Sadio Mané, James Milner, Georginio Wijanaldum and Jordan Henderson.

Stoke City and Southampton had already made use of the new sleeve sponsorship opportunity earlier in the summer.
