This week has seen another wave of appointments and departures at brands, media owners and agencies. The Drum has rounded up the key moves from the EMEA, APAC and North America regions below.

EMEA people are on the move

Tribe

Online marketplace Tribe has named Lisa Targett as its UK managing director to head up the UK operation and lead a team of six.

She joins having previously held the role of ‎senior agency partner for MailOnline.

Seen Group

Global creative group Seen has appointed British Vogue's former beauty and health director Nicola Moulton as creative director.

Moulton, who spent nearly a decade at Vogue, will oversee the development of all creative across the group’s divisions – Beauty Seen, Be Seen, Social Seen, Seen Creates and V-Seen. She will also head up its latest division Studio Seen, handpicking teams for each client project based on their knowledge and insights.

Wolff Olins

Global creative consultancy Wolff Olins announced that it has promoted Sairah Ashman to chief executive officer.

Ashman’s appointment follows 23 years with the company, and seven years as global chief operating officer. She succeeds Ije Nwokorie, who will remain with the company mentoring client teams.

“It’s really special to be stepping into this role, in a company I love, surrounded by people who constantly inspire and amaze me,” said Ashman, who is based in London.

Now

Sarah Levitt joined Now in the newly created role of associate creative director. Previously art director at CHI & Partners, she has worked across a number of accounts including TalkTalk, Lexus and HSBC, as well as gaining experience in-house at Rimmel London.

Levitt will report into Now’s partner and executive creative director Remco Graham. He said of her appointment: “Sarah embodies the type of person we’re looking for at Now. A real restless way of looking at the world, for ad, products and things.”

Uber

Uber has enlisted Patrick Stal as its head of marketing EMEA, poaching him from TomTom to spearhead its efforts in the region.

His appointment comes amid a turbulent time for the ride-hailing app, with chief executive Travis Kalanick having stepped down in June amid a shareholder revolt. The firm has also recently hired former Apple marketing executive Bozoma Saint John as chief brand officer to help it clean up its image.

APAC people on the move

mPlatform

GroupM has moved Regan Baillie from Xaxis to mPlatform, its proprietary audience intelligence and activation solution agency in Singapore, where she will keep her role of managing director.

Baillie has spent more than two decades in advertising and previously worked at GroupM's parent company WPP Group as director of business development EMEA.

USA People on the move

Fitzgerald & Co

Atlanta agency Fitzgerald & Co is adding Vaughn Allen to the role of vice president strategy director. Specifically, he will be part of the shop’s Fitzco/McCann unit, which is dedicated to the agency’s Coke business. Allen is a seasoned strategist and most recently led strategy on Jack Daniel's and CenturyLink at Arnold in Boston.

Melissa Lachowski and Katy Tenerovich have also been hired as senior strategist and associate director, social strategy, respectively.

Arnold Worldwide

Icaro Doria has been appointed as chief creative officer at Arnold Worldwide.

Bringing experience from DDB New York, Wieden + Kennedy Sao Paulo and Y&R to name a few, Doria will be tasked with growing Arnold's creative product throughout the US, focusing on New York and Boston.

AT&T

Brian Lesser is leaving his position as chief executive of GroupM North America to take on a role at AT&T.

Kelly Clark, global chief executive of WPP’s GroupM, will take on his responsibilities while the company searches for a replacement.

DesignShop

Gary Levitt has been appointed to the position of president at Design Shop.

Joining the team from his own consultancy, Levitt will work to further the experiential agency's plans to engage clients from a variety of other walk of life and regions.

Fitch

Global retail and brand consultancy Fitch has appointed Andy Barlow creative director. Barlow will relocate from the UK to lead multi-disciplinary creative teams, and work closely with the leadership across North America to grow and broaden the region’s offer.

With over 25 years of design experience, agency and client side, Barlow has worked with Tesco, Harrods, and Amazon, to name just a few.

JD Power

Bernardo Rodriguez has been named to the newly created position of chief digital officer at JD Power, a global leader in consumer data and analytics and advisory services.

Rodriguez will be responsible for advancing JD Power’s digital transformation with responsibility for new product development, branding, marketing and mergers and acquisitions. In this role, Rodriguez will be responsible for the design and content of JD Power’s digital interface with clients and consumers, reporting directly to Finbarr O'Neill, chief executive officer and president.
