Hong Kong's The Peak Galleria appoints DDB as lead communications agency
The Peak Galleria, a shopping complex perched on top of Hong Kong’s iconic Victoria Peak, has appointed DDB Group Hong Kong as lead agency responsible for brand communications.
Hong Kong destination The Peak Galleria has appointed DDB
The agency will be responsible for The Peak Galleria’s 2017/18 brand communications, including strategy and creative duties, as the brand looks to position the centre as a world-class shopping, dining and entertainment destination.
The Peak Galleria, which is owned by Hang Lung Properties, appointed DDB following a four-way pitch.
Joyce Lee, general manager of leasing and management at Hang Lung Properties, said, “[DDB’s] proposal integrates strategy with executional excellence. The result is a succinctly distilled brand identity that positions The Peak Galleria as a city getaway to unwind after a taxing day in the city, a place to explore and discover at one’s own pace.”
Irene Tsui, managing partner at DDB, said, “Together with Hang Lung Properties, we will kick off a fitting new brand story for one of the jewels in Hong Kong’s crown.”
The appointment follows new appointments at DDB Group Hong Kong, which appointed Keith Ho as co-managing partner alongside Tsui, and chief creative officer replacing Carol Lam who joined Leo Burnett earlier this year.
