MediaCom China appoints Christian Solomon as chief digital officer
MediaCom has appointed Christian Solomon as chief digital officer, China, tasked with driving innovation across the company and growing its national digital capabilities.
Christian Solomon has been appointed chief digital officer of MediaCom China
Soloman will be responsible for continuing to build MediaCom’s positioning as a market-leading digital agency which focuses on engaging consumers with brands via their connections to content.
Solomon has worked for MediaCom China for four years, most recently as head of digital, and has more than 11 years experience in the China market.
He will be based in Beijing and report directly to MediaCom China CEO Rupert McPetrie.
McPetrie said, “Christian has a strong proven track record of success here in China, and through his time in MediaCom he has built respect among his peers and clients alike through his innovative approaches to making digital advertising more powerful for clients. He has demonstrated outstanding leadership capabilities and a proven approach to building client business. We are very pleased he is taking on this national leadership role, with a very clear vision for the future.”
Solomon recently spoke with The Drum as part of a feature on China’s BAT (Baidu, Tencent and Alibaba) tech companies.
