As Amazon files patents for multi-level fulfillment centers for unmanned aerial vehicles, prompting comparisons to giant urban beehives, and UPS tests its own spin on drone package delivery, American meat and cold cut brand Oscar Mayer is expanding its so-called Weinerfleet, the focal point of which is the infamous Wienermobile, to include a Wienerdrone, as well as a Wienercycle.

The Wienerdrone is the first unmanned hot-dog-carrying aircraft designed for remote location delivery.

Per Oscar Mayer, the Wienerdrone is the first unmanned hot-dog-carrying aircraft designed for remote location delivery. The Wienercycle, on the other hand, is a three-wheeled moped, “ideal for tricky urban deliveries, traveling on land with a sidecar that doubles as a hot dog warming station."

The fleet also includes the Wienermini and Wienerrover.

And, naturally, these vehicles are packed with hot dogs and headed to Weiner, Arkansas for the “ultimate Fourth of July celebration."

The brand said it removed all nitrates, nitrites, byproducts and artificial preservatives from the meat in its hot dogs earlier this year and “is now going to great lengths all summer long to get a new, delicious hot dog in hands across America."

“As the most iconic brand, we’re going where other hot dogs can’t. We’re committed to getting our new hot dog in everyone’s hands – and going to great lengths to do this. We knew that was a job for more than just our existing Wienermobile,” added Greg Guidotti, head of marketing at Oscar Mayer, in a statement. “So, we’ve expanded our Oscar Mayer fleet, ensuring every American can taste the new recipe because we believe everyone deserves a better hot dog.”
