Mars boosts digital innovation with two key appointments

Mars has made two key appointments to help accelerate digital innovation and growth across its global business.

The appointments of Dadlani and Corbin will assist with digital innovation and growth

Sandeep Dadlani takes up the role of chief digital officer having joined from Infosys, a $10bn global systems integration firm, where he was president and head of Americas.

In his new role Dadlani will be responsible for working with Mars’ global business segments to drive its digital transformation agenda.

Dadlani succeeds chief information officer, Vittorio Cretella, who helped transformation Mars’ information technology function.

The second key appointment sees George Corbin, previously senior vice president of digital at Marriott International, join Mars as its new chief digital demand officer.

Dadlani will will be responsible for leading Mars’ global digital demand transformation and will help better integrate its e-commerce and digital businesses.

Mars chief executive and president, Grant Reid, said: “Digital is changing the way our consumers and customers experience our products and services. New expectations, competition, distribution channels and opportunities present themselves every day. As we use digital capability to transform our business, we’re delighted that Sandeep Dadlani and George Corbin will bring their depth of expertise in this area.”
