The Drum, in association with Appboy, will be hosting a roundtable discussion on how the advertising industry is adapting to keep up with new technologies and shifting consumer expectations.
With innovation being a key theme at Cannes, the debate will centre around how brands and agencies can harness innovation to drive real business outcomes.
Other topics will cover how brands and agencies can overcome a siloed approach to innovation, whether agencies are truly becoming digital transformation partners for clients, and how data can be leveraged to create personalised marketing. The roundtable session will explore how the advertising industry is responding to advancements in technologies as digital and mobile gain momentum, forcing strategic priorities to change in the market.
The event, Are Agencies Viewing Their World Through Rosé Coloured Glasses? takes place on Tuesday 20 June at Le Vieux Port, Palais Harbour in Cannes from 10am to 12pm.
It will be running alongside several activities hosted by The Drum throughout the Cannes Lions festival.
