Amazon Prime Video’s flagship show will integrate with the 2017 Allianz World Championship Race in London tomorrow (Tuesday 13 June). This will culminate in a Grand Tour Finish Gate at Alexandra Palace, supplemented with a Grand Tour commentator booth for special guest announcers and the creation of additional content.

Nicholas Horbaczewski, DRL chief executive and founder, said: “As devoted fans of the Grand Tour we can't think of a better entertainment partnership for DRL. The larger-than-life-personalities and epic stunts align perfectly with the insane skill of DRL pilots, our incredible 3D race courses and the drive to deliver the sport of the future to fans around the world."

The finish gate will be modelled on the Grand Tour tent in which the trio of hosts toured the world.

Mike Benson, director of marketing at Amazon Prime Video, added: "Jeremy, James and Richard have made a career out of thinking up near-impossible stunts and making them a reality. This collaboration with the Drone Racing League, innovators and creators of this exciting new sport, is a natural fit."

The race will be broadcast on ESPN, Sky, Pro7Maxx, Disney XD, OSN and across 75 countries.
